Travel increases the risk of spreading COVID-19 to others.
Even if you have been vaccinated, continue to follow COVID-19 prevention strategies to protect others before, during and after traveling. Before you leave, check the CDC Travel Planner for state, local, tribal and territorial government restrictions, and be aware of CDC required testing or quarantine for international travel.
If I am vaccinated, do I need to quarantine when I return to Kansas?
Vaccinated Kansans are not required to quarantine after traveling if they meet all of the following criteria:
- Are fully vaccinated (i.e., ≥2 weeks following receipt of the second dose in a 2-dose series, or ≥2 weeks following receipt of one dose of a single-dose vaccine)
- Have remained asymptomatic since the travel
If you do not meet both of the above criteria, then continue to follow current quarantine guidance for travel.
